Jonny B. Mitchell (February 22nd, 1986) was born Jonathan Bowles in Newport News, Virginia to a family of 5, being cast in the role as the oldest. After understanding the Jewish lineage of his bloodline, he pursued Judaism at the age of 18, traveling to Texas, Maryland, Florida and then California. He has been a lifelong writer and first began creating other worlds and characters in the fourth grade. Graduating with a degree in Creative Writing from California State University- Long Beach in 2014, Jonny stayed in Southern California. After trying his hand at writing thriller short stories and long poems, he found his strength in the fantasy genre, and published his first novel on May 21st, 2020.

In his first book, "The Collection: 1st Chronicle", Jonny totally submerged himself into the life and universe of Kenny Whitley, the messiah of the times. Readers enjoyed the journey and have made it available in 51 countries. This series provided the growth and passion he needed to get through the hard personal times. At first a thriller and then a fantasy novel, this story has helped several people with coming to terms with their truest self.

Jonny is an active member of his synagogue, Congregation Tikvat Jacob in Manhattan Beach, CA and still applies the core values of brotherhood from his fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi. He had his bar mitzvah in 2009, where he received his Hebrew name: Adonjiah Yehon. As a volunteer for The Trevor Project and H.I.V. activist, he splits his time between Los Angeles and Oakland, CA and is on the road to starting a family. He has a close relationship with his grandmother amidst the vast distance between them and keeps in contact with his parents often. Between writing and family life, Jonny enjoys the much needed time to himself on the shores of Long Beach, California.
