Before the coming of the messiah...

Lucifer, Uriel and Enoch are tasked with spying on the newly formed Lower Realms. Upon encountering the formation of an army, they retreat to alert the other Sentinels. By unleashing the power of the collective Soul Seeds, the armies of hell perish and the links between the world realms are sealed.

Unfulfilled, Lucifer sets out to retrieve Metatron's Cube, the prison that houses the ancient archangel, to create a Paradise for himself. The Ever-Majesties are angered at this defiance and dispatches the Sentinels to find the wandering angel and seal him to the Pits. Lucifer is captured by Dark-El and tortured for the Cube until Enoch and the others arrive.

Metatron is freed and all hell breaks loose...
