What genre is your series?

The Soul Seed Novels are written as fantasy and supernatural. There are some elements of sci-fi and horror as well as action and adventure. Of course with every great story, there is a love interest but it isn't a romance. If that makes sense.

How many books are in The Soul Seed novels?

There are 5 main books in the Collection Series, 4 side quest books (I dubbed "Soul Quests") and 3 sequels. But the sequels are so far in the future, it isn't worth getting excited about yet.

What are the titles and release dates?

The 5 main books:

Why use the title "messiah"?

In Jewish eschatology, the term Mashiach, or "Messiah", refers specifically to a future king from the Davidic line that has not come to earth yet. In Native American tradition, anyone with a pure soul can become the messiah of the world. Within the Japanese anime community, the term messiah is used interchangeably with a savior or sovereign (i.e., Sailor Moon was the Messiah as was Mistress 9, the Messiah of Silence). This series in no way is to demean or diminish the term "messiah" in the Christian definition of the word.

What religions inspired you?

Kenny is a Jewish messiah, the Upper Realms (heavens) were inspired by the Christian and Hindu religions, the Rampant Wastes (hells) were shaped from Indian, Muslim and Buddhism (there is a frozen hell), and the Junction of Annulled Miracles (our dimension) was inspired by Wicca, Satanism, Judaism and Greek/Roman Mythology.

Shinto plays a roll in the character Percy and Taoism inspired book 3. The Baháʼí Faith is the founding faith of the character Shawn.

Are the books available in e-book, traditional print or audio formats?

Yes, in 51 countries all the books are available in a wide-range of formats, including traditional - paper and hardback, Kindle, Nook, KOBO, LULU eBook, and iBook. However, it is not yet available on ACX audio.

Are any of the characters based on real people in your life?

In a way I would say that art does imitate life and a few of my characters are based off of real people. For example; Tonya is based off of my best friend since high school, Tone'e and Shawn is based off my childhood friend, Marcus.

Where do you get your ideas?

Most of my ideas come from the experiences I have on public transit or what I hear during family gatherings. I'm always thinking, "how can I make that apart of my *writing* world?" Musical scores help, too. I can listen to the soundtrack of 'Man of Steel' and write 12 chapters.
