Jonny B. Mitchell (February 22nd, 1986) was born Jonathan Bowles in Newport News, Virginia to a family of 5, being cast in the role as the oldest. After understanding the Jewish lineage of his bloodline, he pursued Judaism at the age of 18, traveling to Texas, Maryland, Florida and then California. He has been a lifelong writer and first began creating other worlds and characters in the fourth grade. Graduating with a degree in Creative Writing from California State University- Long Beach in 2014, Jonny stayed in Southern California. After trying his hand at writing thriller short stories and long poems, he found his strength in the fantasy genre, and published his first novel on May 21st, 2020. In 2021, Jonny B. Mitchell will be collaborating with Neil Wade, (manager & illustrator for a black animated series with Nickelodeon) for the cover work of the Soul Seed novels.
